Well, Claudia was faster than me, but I feel she forgot one very important thing.

This site is 10 decades years old now. 10 years ago, I decided I should create THE perfect Johnny fansite. There were a few sites already there, not as many as today, but none of them had “everything”. This is what I wanted – a site that is that huge that you won’t miss anything, not the content, not the beautiful layout, not a clean structure, not the friendly atmosphere. And this, while I had NO clue how to achieve that. I did not know what html is, how others do those header graphics and how to get everything into the internet. I just wanted it so much, I researched and taught myself and even got into coding my own php scripts.

So yes, I have to thank Johnny…well…for giving me another time consuming hobby, for stealing all my free time, for my chewed fingernails because something doesn’t work as it should (which is the fact every day)…I honestly wish, I hadn’t opened it 10 years ago –
but also for being my inspiration to create something that big, to build not only a website with plain text, but a whole community with people from the whole world whom I call my friends now, and for the chance of my self-development. As much as it was about Johnny at the beginning, it is much more than that now.
And of course I have to thank all the current and recent staffers, which has become a long long list of helpful people. So kind people, spending their time for making this a better place and getting absolutely nothing for it.

But I also have to thank you, the visitors. As Johnny calls us his employers, you, the visitors, are the employers of us, the JDorg staff. Why should we do this if there’s no one reading / watching us?
