This is how I met Johnny Depp
Ok. Johnny Depp is one of the best actors ever. So when I found out that parts of Public Enemies were going to be filmed in Oshkosh Wisconsin I could not believe it. And better yet out of all the actors in the world, my favorite actor was coming to the small city where I live! They started filming at the airport late friday night. Then on monday afternoon (April 14th, 2008) I came downtown to watch the filming and possibly see Johnny. They were filming a scene with johnny out front of the Oshkosh Public Libary. 
He was standing on the outside of the car along with a couple of other actors. In the background extras were waiting in the cold. Behind the extra’s were two old fashioned cars going in a circle on the cobblestone street that had been layed out. Suddenly we all herd a voice that yelled “action!” The next thing I knew was that the car Johnny was on was coming twords us. The extra’s started to walk up the street and everyone herd gunshots being fired. Johnny was shooting at the extra’s. The extra’s then ducked. Johnny came on the car close enough to see his face. He smiled, waved and held up the gun. They kept on filming the same scene, so my mother and I decided to move down by the libary. After waiting about 20 minutes the police said Johnny would be doing a meet and greet across from the movie trailers. Everyone started to run when the officer said that if we ran Johnny would not come out. Once we got by the trailers my mother and I went under the yellow caution tape and stood front in line for about an hour and a half. The officers said they had no idea when Johnny would come out. The two officers near us were auguring over how they liked the movie Sweeney Todd. Then someone yelled “It’s Willy Wonka!” Everyone turned by Johnny was not there. A while later Johnny finally came out! 
When he came out he had on his blue sunglasses he wore to the Pirates of the Caribbean 3 premire. When he came up to me I asked him for a hug. He said sure! So I huged him and could not believe that i was hugging Jack Sparrow! Then he told me “Thanks for coming.” The lady next to me asked him when the movie was coming out. Johnny replied with “I don’t know. They don’t tell me that kind of stuff.” everyone laughed, including johnny. After he said that my mother and I made our way back twords the sidewalk. I started jumping up and down.
The next day was tuesday and my best firend and I were dropped off downtown. We went to the same spot as monday only this time there were about 200 people aready there! We looked at eack other and found a spot. We were in the 3rd row back. After waiting a while Johnny came out again wearing the same outfit. his yellow lether jacket, blue plad shirt underneith it. He wore jeans and the same boots he always has on. And of cource his brown hat and glasses. When he approched us I held out my left hand. He shook everyones hand that had theirs out. My friend and I yelled “we love you Mr.depp!” Johnny smiled at us and moved on. his hans are really soft and smooth!
Then comes friday. The last day of filming. My dad took me downtown and we waited in the same area. We waited for about three hours and the Johnny came out again! The people ahead of us told Johnny conguations on his engagement. Then the next man said “Are you going to do another movie with Tim Burton?” Johnny said “It’s a possibility.” then Johnny is right in front of me.
I asked “May I get a picture with you?” Johnny did not hear me because of everyone yelling his name. He looked me in the eye and took both of my hands and said “What’s that?” I repeated my question and Johnny said “Sure.” we turned around, his arm around me and right when my dad was going to take the picture, the director stepped in and said “Sorry, but we don’t have enough time.” Johnny said with a sad look “Sorry.” and let go of my hands. You could tell that he really wanted to get that picture with me. Well if you’re wondering, my dad got a picture of Johnny looking at me and one of us together, except we are both looking a different way. It is really funny! And that is how i met Johnny Depp.
Some other news I herd was that Johnny brought his two childern Jack and Lily-Rose to Oshkosh and at a bar in Appleton Johnny left a $1,500 dollar tip. Wow!
