I will have to nearly step back from the site due to personal reasons (good reasons) soon and so won’t have the time anymore to come here and do things on the site every day (I know, even now I have not enough time anymore). Sarfania also has far less time than before because of her job and cannot be online every day, so that Alexandra has all the trouble to add things fast alone.
Because of that, I’m looking for one or two new staffers with plenty of time, at least coming online once a day (holidays are allowed of course :-p). Because we need some allround-talents and not staffers managing one single section, you should have the following abilities:
– being interested in Johnny Depp of course!
– being interested in johnny-depp.org, too.
– (x)html and css
– ftp
– maybe php or at least easy things like php includes would be good
– how to convert images (make thumbs etc.)
– speak/write English good enough
– being a fast learner
– seeing yourself what needs to be done
– being interested to do it for longer and not only a week
You don’t need to be perfect in everything, just have some basic knowledge or at least an IDEA of it, so I don’t need to teach from zero, we’ll be there everytime you need us how things are to be done.
(Having a myspace is NOT knowing html!!)
We need you for adding news and especially pics, updating several sections, maybe even bringing new content to the site what YOU think it needs….things that need to be done regularly and fast as well as things that need to be done all few months (timeline…). I do NOT need someone for layouts (besides changing some small parts in the existing ones), this is my favourite job. You’d have to be really perfect in doing them to persuade me.
