Johnny Depp’s Art Makes Its German Premiere in Emmendingen!
Fans of Johnny Depp have another reason to celebrate: the Hollywood icon is now showcasing his personal artwork in Germany for the very first time.
From March 21 to April 12, 2026, the Queens Kunstgalerie in Emmendingen (a charming small town in southwest Baden-Württemberg) is hosting an exclusive exhibition of Depp’s paintings. Titled as part of his “Friends & Heroes” debut collection, the show features 13 limited-edition works along with some unique original pieces (Unikate). Every single artwork has been personally revised and hand-signed by Johnny Depp himself.
The collection offers an intimate glimpse into the people who have influenced Depp’s life and career. Highlights include artistic portraits and interpretations of legends such as Elizabeth Taylor, Al Pacino, and Bob Dylan, alongside self-portraits and other deeply personal pieces.
Gallery owner Ted Bauer expressed his excitement about the collaboration:
“We are glad that we can represent him – from Emmendingen to the whole of Germany and the world.”
Bauer’s team worked tirelessly for four years to secure the exclusive rights from Depp’s management for the German-speaking region. The long-term contract makes Queens Kunstgalerien the official representative of Johnny Depp’s art in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Each piece required careful framing and a comprehensive security concept before the exhibition could open.
Depp, who has been painting privately for decades, only began presenting his works publicly in 2022. Since then, his exhibitions in England, the United States (including a recent show in New York), and Tokyo have drawn record crowds. This marks his first-ever art show on German soil.
According to the gallery, Depp’s management has hinted that the actor would love to visit Emmendingen in person once he wraps his current film project – a visit that would undoubtedly turn the quiet town into a pilgrimage site for fans worldwide.
If you’re in the region or planning a trip, the exhibition runs until April 12, 2026, at:
Queens Kunstgalerien Am Elzdamm 63 79312 Emmendingen
This intimate show in a small-town gallery perfectly reflects Johnny Depp’s unique character – bringing world-class art and Hollywood magic to an unexpected place. It’s a wonderful opportunity for fans to experience another side of the multifaceted artist we all admire.
