Johnny Depp Launches “Coffee of the Caribbean” from His Private Island

Johnny Depp is reportedly expanding his creative ventures with the launch of a new coffee brand titled Coffee of the Caribbean, inspired by his life on his private island in the Bahamas, Little Hall’s Pond Cay.

According to sources close to the actor, the project has been quietly in development for over a year. Depp is said to have taken a hands-on approach, working closely with small-batch coffee producers to create blends that reflect what he describes as “the rhythm of island life.”

The initial collection will reportedly feature three signature blends:

  • Sunrise on the Cay – a smooth, light roast with citrus notes

  • Black Pearl Roast – a bold, dark blend with hints of cocoa and spice

  • Golden Sands Espresso – a rich espresso with a warm, caramel finish

A source involved in the project shared:

“Johnny wanted each blend to feel like a different moment on the island. Morning light, late-night conversations, storms rolling in-he really got into the storytelling behind it.”

The packaging is said to lean heavily into vintage Caribbean aesthetics, featuring hand-drawn maps, weathered textures, and subtle nods to Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. Early mockups reportedly include compass symbols and handwritten-style notes such as “Brewed best with salt air and no schedule.”

Depp himself allegedly described the project as:

“A small piece of the island you can take with you. Something simple, something honest… and a little bit mysterious.”

The first limited batch is rumored to be produced in collectible tins, with each design slightly different-encouraging fans to “collect them like lost treasures.”

While no official release date has been confirmed, insiders suggest the launch could happen later this spring.

Update: of course (unfortunately) this was our April fools joke 2026.
