Yesterday, January 27, Johnny performed on stage of the charity concert Imperial Ball 2018 in Anaheim, California. He rocked the stage alongside Alice Cooper. Alice Cooper says he, Johnny Depp and Joe Perry have written “a lot of new material” for their blistering new Vampires album, coming out in June.
The Vampires, Johnny, Joe, and Alice, started out as a tribute band, but this summer they are releasing an album featuring all-new, original, hard rock songs.
Alice Cooper announced to AZ Central, he, Johnny and Joe are recording their new Hollywood Vampires album from December 10 until February 26. That’s the space of time between Alice Cooper’s Pudding Concert and Alice’s return to his Paranormal Tour.
“I would imagine in that time that we’ll be going over to L.A. to record with the Vampires, because the Vampires, I think, are gonna go out in June.”
Alice Cooper described the album to AZ Central as a very hard rock album. Considering Johnny Depp and Joe Perry are providing two guitars as a strong backup for shock rocker Alice Cooper, that should be no surprise.

So, I do NOT intend to start a discussion about political attitudes and which one is the “right” or the “wrong” one and which is the better. There is none! I dot NOT want to start an argument about whether Trump is a “good president” or not.
The aim of this post is to defend Johnny in a way. The internet is full of people either praising or criticizing Trump’s handling and public statements. Many people – townsfolk who isn’t in the public eye, politicians, actors, musicians – are vocal and speak out on Trump and his way of running the United States. Many of them do this publicly via social media, even politicians. Many people criticize him blisteringly and some even become offensive. So, why fuss about it while other actors actually fill their entire Twitter feed with severe tweets about Trump? He’s a normal, human and living person who calls for change in a situation where change is needed.
