The Professor – New Stills + Promotional Images

New posters, promotional images and movie stills for The Professor have been released.

Edit: I intended to publish this post yesterday already along with the post about the personalized jacket by Sandersson for Johnny, but apparently it wasn’t published.

Well, as the title reveals, new posters, movie stills and promotional images for Johnny’s upcoming movie The Professor have been released, which can be found in our photo gallery, of course. The poster is the one for the Netherlands, that’y why it still contains the former movie title Richard Says Goodbye, which was changed to The Professor in the United States.

On Set of “Richard Says Goodbye” in Vancouver (July 25)

On Tuesday, July 25, Johnny had to get into a lake fully clothed for his latest film in Vancouver, Canada. On that same day, he also visited supporters and admirers downton.

His hair was styled in a curly fashion not worn by the actor in his day-to-day life. The look would soon be ruined by the water as he swam with a swan for the unusual scene. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Johnny will play ‘a world-weary college professor who is given a life-changing diagnosis.’

The diagnosis causes his character to live a life without limits which encourages a wild streak within him. That description certainly adds more context to the scene Johnny was shooting in the lake on Tuesday.

I added 17 tagged LQ images to the photo gallery. Enjoy!

Visiting Supporters in Vancouver

Johnny has arrived in Vancouver and — much to the delight of his admirers — he’s been out and about on the town. Of course, he is there to film his latest movie project Richard Says Goodbye.

To the surprise of Vancouverites, Johnny, sporting disheveled hair, turned up outside the Blackbird Public House on Dunsmuir Street in the downtown business district on July 25. Ever a good sport, he was willing to pose for snaps and chats — and even the occasional kiss.

Fan videos and photos soon lit up social media.
