Johnny Depp continues to film scenes for his new film Mortdecai on Thursday (November 14) in London, England.

The 50-year-old actor’s stunt double was also on hand that day to film scenes in which the character got hit by a car and flew onto the windshield.

Joachim Ronning’s and Espen Sandberg’s Pirates of the Caribbean 5 is well underway according to sources; even if rumours started swirling in Sept. that the writers are having problems with the script. The film, titled “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” will be released in 2016.

Johnny Depp is making a cameo in London Fields, the long-gestating black crime-thriller based on Martin Amis’ 1989 novel of the same name.

Lionsgate and OddLot Entertainment have formed a multiyear, multipicture co-financing and distribution deal beginning with OddLot’s co-financing of the action comedy “Mortdecai,” starring Johnny Depp.

The companies said the deal gives them a framework for Lionsgate and OddLot to co-produce and co-finance additional pictures that may be sourced by either party. It also provides OddLot with distribution on certain pictures.

“Mortdecai” stars Depp, Gwyneth Paltrow, , Paul Bettany and Olivia Munn. Production begins this fall.

ACTORS are wanted for a Disney movie being shot in Dover and starring Hollywood hunk Johnny Depp.

The A-lister, who has topped the bill in blockbusters such as Pirates of the Caribbean and Alice in Wonderland, is the big name in new flick Into The Woods.

The fifth Pirates Of The Caribbean movie is scheduled to be released in 2015, which will likely go down in history as the biggest box office year ever based on all the blockbusters lined up to be released. Before today, everyone was calling the fifth Pirates sequel Pirates Of The Caribbean 5, but now an official name has been revealed.

For years, there’s been talk of a Keith Richards documentary directed by Johnny Depp, with the working title Happy. But little has been heard of that in recent months, particularly with all of the Rolling Stones activity around their 50th anniversary, including their current tour and their own documentary.

But in a lengthy Stones feature in the new issue of British magazine Mojo, a sidebar reports that further work on the documentary took place in April.

As with all Christopher Nolan projects, there is a veil of secrecy surrounding ‘Transcendence,’ the upcoming sci-fi film starring Johnny Depp. Produced by Nolan and directed by Wally Pfister (Director of Photography on the ‘Dark Knight’ films), ‘Transcendence’ was designed to be a complex sci-fi film, not unlike ‘Inception,’ but to date, we haven’t had much (if any) official confirmations on the film’s plot.

L.A.- and Beijing-based DMG Entertainment has inked a tie-in with Alcon Entertainment. It will finance, produce, and distribute the 2014 Johnny Depp-starrer “Transcendence,” which is now in production.

The two shingles have also agreed to do the same deal on the remake of “Point Break,” which is in late stage development at Alcon. DMG will distribute both pictures in China, while Warner Brothers will distribute in North America, DMG said in a statement.
