Of course this is an april fools joke, those visiting our site for years already knew it!
We just received the info, that Johnny is set to play a small role in the next Game of Thrones Season, not yet shot. I don’t want to say much, because it may spoil those, who have not read the books, but it the “kindly man”. The kindly man is a priest of the Many-Faced God and has different (also ugly) appearances in the book, so it may fit Johnny’s interest in looking ugly and different, see here for more spoiler!! info. There’s just fanart yet regarding his appearance. Production starts July 2015 till late in the year and as it is just a small role it may just take some days, and will premiere spring 2016.

“Tusk”, directed by Kevin Smith, premiered yesterday at the TIFF.
The movie, too, takes on a wildly different tone when, around the film’s third act, a wholly unrecognizable Johnny Depp is introduced as a gonzo French-Canadian detective named Guy LaPointe, who teams up with Wally’s co-host and girlfriend (Genesis Rodriguez) to track him down. With Depp’s entrance, what had been a relatively straightforward horror film is turned on its head. It’s undoubtedly the best, most off-the-wall performance Depp has given in ages, the kind of actorly feat that is so out there that it borders on the hypnotic. Depp, with little more than some well-placed prosthetics and a goofy French-Canadian accent, makes “Tusk” infinitely weirder.

This week in London respected American producer T Bone Burnett revealed a video of his latest project, Lost in the River: The Basement Tapes, on which a handful of artists including Elvis Costello and Marcus Mumford have written music for lyrics penned and supplied by Bob Dylan.
Dylan found the long-forgotten scraps from his own Basement Tapes, recorded at the Big Pink in 1967, in a box last year and handed over the previously unseen words to Burnett with orders to do something with them.
We’ll hear the results in November, but ring-in Johnny Depp is on there, standing in for Costello on one song on guitar because the Liverpudlian had a gig to go to elsewhere on the day of recording. “I was glad to have him as an understudy,” Costello says.
