Ross Halfin took photos of Johnny, Joe Perry and Alice Cooper during the Late Late Show with James Corden.

On Thursday, August 01, Hollywood Vampires performed during the Late Late Show with James Corden (which can be seen in the previous post below). Accompanied by friend and photographer Ross Halfin Johnny and the band were photographed and the results are amazing! Thanks (and credits) to the talented Mr. Halfin. Hollywood Vampires performed their cover verison of David Bowie’s “Heroes” on The Late Late Show With James Corden.

Yesterday, July 30, Hollywood Vampires appeared on The Late Late Show With James Corden (shown on CBS) to perform their cover version of David Bowie‘s Heroes for the Stage 56 audience. The leading vocals were, again, sung by Johnny himself.

You can watch the performance in the video above. Enjoy!

Screen Captures of “Heroes” have been uploaded.

As the title reveals, I finally added 89 HQ screen captures of Johnny performing “Heroes” (originally by David Bowie) along with his bandmates Joe Perry and Alice Cooper. The cover song is on the second Hollywood VampiresRise“, which was released on June 21.

Hollywood Vampires performed two songs on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night.

Last night, Hollywood Vampires appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live!‘s outdoor stage to play two songs: first, David Bowie’s “Heroes” and their own “I Want My Now.” I was glad to see that Johnny took on the lead in “Heroes”, turning it in more than just a heavy metal ballad. He really touched me with his performance – again!

For those of you who don’t know yet, “I Want My Now” is the opening track on the new album Rise (June 21st). The entire album contains 16 tracks, is produced by Tommy Henriksen and is the second full-length effort from the band. “Heroes” will also be on the album.

Make sure to watch the band’s performance on Jimmy’s video above. I also added photos (screen captures will follow!) to the photo gallery.
Addition: By the way, I’m super, super sorry for the inconvenience about the gallery. It has been unreachable for a couple of days, due to our site being transferred to another server. Luckily, the gallery is up again.

The video for Hollywood Vampires’ “Heroes” cover is online.

As the new Hollywood Vampires album Rise‘s official release date (June 21) is coming closer, the band/its management released the video for their cover of David Bowie‘s song Heroes. What do you guys think? Johnny’s voice is just… wow. Do you agree?

Hollywood Vampire’s second studio album will be released on June 21, 2019.

It’s official: Johnny Depp, Joe Perry and Alice Cooper will return on June 21 this year with their second album as Hollywood Vampires. The album is called Rise and will be a 16-track effort from the group, containing mostly original material written by the band itself. The album can be pre-saved here.

There are three covers included, however, as tributes to rock stars we lost too soon, including a version of David Bowie‘s “Heroes” (performed by Johnny), Jim Carroll Band‘s “People Who Died” and Johnny Thunders‘ “You Can’t Put Your Arms Around a Memory” (sung by Joe). Other tracks on the album include “I Want My Now,” “The Boogieman Surprise,” “We Gotta Rise” and “Mr. Spider.”

“Rise is not only a totally different animal than the first Vampires album, it is unique to anything I’ve ever been a part of,” says Cooper in a statement. “I approached it very differently than I usually do when working on an album. Each of us; Joe, Johnny, Tommy, and myself have written songs on this album. What is different though is that I didn’t try to change any songs to be more ‘Alice-like.’ Because each of us has different influences, the sound of this album is very cool. I think that with this album, we are establishing what the Vampires’ sound really is, whereas with the first album, we were more tipping our hats to our fallen rock ‘n’ roll brothers.”

Perry adds that the album came from “pure creative energy” akin to the band’s live performances. “The record showcases everyone doing what they do best without anyone looking over our shoulders,” he says. “There was no pressure or deadlines, allowing us to write and record an album that is one of the freest and most honest sounding records I’ve been part of. I can’t wait to perform some of these tunes live for our fans.”

Track list:
“I Want My Now”
“Good People Are Hard to Find”
“Who’s Laughing Now”
“How the Glass Fell”
“The Boogieman Surprise”
“Welcome to Bushwackers” (feat. Jeff Beck + John Waters)

“Git From Round Me”
“Heroes”
“A Pitiful Beauty”
“New Threat”
“Mr. Spider”
“We Gotta Rise”
“People Who Died”
“Congratulations”
